BUDGET BETTY: TRENDY BRIDES versus MINIMALIST MUMS

What's been happening? Well a lot has been going on on this side of the planet and this is the time to share. So......Weddings weddings weddings!!! We all have our fairy tale etched in our minds; what colours you want the drapes to be, how many tiers you want the cake to have, how you want your aso-ebi ladies to look bla bla bla. Social media has also helped create an awareness amongst us ladies. Weddings are now larger than life, lavish and stylish. Unfortunately, sometimes, mums refuse to get on the social media bandwagon. 
I have seen many cases where a bride has her heart set on having a fab and classy wedding, and in her fairytale world, she believes mum and dad will definitely support this noble cause...SMH!!! This post is just to prepare budget betty cum trendy bride for some realities of weddng planning. Beta soup, na money kill am! But first, what do these terms even mean? 

RONKE'S BRIDAL MAKEOVER

I trust you had a wonderful weekend as did we at Brushes 'n' Colours!!! 

So, here's another post on a dear friend/bride. Now, I've known Ronke since 2004 thereabout. Ronke is a model bride people!!! We had concluded plans for her January 2014 wedding by June 2013 when we did her introduction makeup!!!
This wedding was stress-free for me cos Ronke also happens to live about 15 minutes drive away from me........perfection!
