GUERLAIN....MY VERDICT/ GIVEAWAY

Hello beauties,

Yes, I am back! and as promised, this time, I'll be sharing my thoughts on the Guerlain products I received about a month ago. I have had time to use most of these products so this is my expert opinion! I promise that everything said here is the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth...so help me God!


I made a video explaining how to use some of these products but for some reason, windows live movie maker doesn't seem to be friends with me anymore...so guys, if you know of any other movie editors...please be kind enough to let me know...I really need your help. Before I proceed though, my pink Polo shirt was a gift to me from a client and big sis of mine....Aunty Tosin(thanks sis), she didn't allow me post a pic of our work together but with the shirt and chocolates bribe, I forgive her anyways.....hahahaahaah.
So, to be totally honest with you guys, these products are simply amazing...I know i said it before, but it's just the truth.  Let's get to it then...but first, some pictures...

GUERLAIN TERRACOTTA 4 SEASONS

This is arguably my favourite product of the stash I received. It actually does all the things I talked about earlier in my previous post.(click here if you didn't catch that post). 
So, I used the darkest colour in the product to contour the perimeter of my face, the hollow of my cheeks, and my nose as well and I must say, it is simply amazing. The intensity is obvious yet subtle(sounds like a contradiction right!). You can only understand it if you try it. Waaaaaay better than my sleek contour kit or Bobbi Brown contour palette!
Next, I swirled my brush all over the 4 shades to powder my face. I'm still not sure if it is comparable to my all time favourite; MAC Studio Fix powder but this is stiff competiton right here guys!
Finally, I used the red colour as my blush and I absolutely looooove the effect! I don't have many blushes to compare with but I absolutely live for sleek and la femme blushes. But this, hmmmmm....try it guys, honestly!

PRICE POINT: N10,000


VERDICT:
 For an absolutely wonderful powder, contour kit and blush in 1 posh package, this is a must-have. All the better for you if you live overseas, then you can enjoy its 4-season benefits!

 






GUERLAIN ROUGE AUTOMATIQUE 

So, this lipstick has been the only lippy I have been rocking for the past 2 weeks, I have used it on 2 brides, 1 chiefbridesmaid and 2 models since I got it about a month ago, The lippy has been truly loved. Its pay-off is simply amazing especially when I pair it with the lipgloss I also received from Guerlain. Let me give you one small gist. I went to church during the week, and an usher told me to save whatever lipstick I was wearing for my wedding day....Guys, it's that fabulous. I'll let the pictures do the talking.




PRICE POINT: N5,600

VERDICT: 
To be honest guys, when I saw the price point, I silently made up my mind not to include this product in my Pro Kit. But the comment from that usher in church made me change my mind. Anything this attention grabbing must be used on myself and my brides...abi na!

GUERLAIN G NOIR MASCARA

For the mascara, oh well...this is definitely something better than all the mascaras I own. If you know me well, you will know I really do not care for mascaras as such....false eyelashes kind of do the trick for me; so my mascara is for the sole purpose of blending both real and fake lashes together. I do not buy mascaras expecting a world of miracles. I don't need them to give me volume; my 111s do that for me. If i need length, my 23s are faithful. If I need subtle divatude, Claudia lashes gets me....So, it was with this mindset I decided to play with this mascara. I was impressed, my bottom lashes have never looked this amazing. So I tried them on my upper lashes on other occasions. This is definitely a great accessory....will I be swayed?....hmmmmm.
The kajal is definitely intense with great staying power!

VERDICT: If you are not a lashes diva like me, this is definitely for you. If you are like me, spoil yourself a little. The Kajal is definitely a must-have
