NEW PRODUCT ALERT: DURALINE

Hey beauties,

Today is going to be a very quick post.
I made a discovery…uhm, well, maybe I should say I tested a discovery that has been made for a long time, and honestly, I implore you to check this out(if you are a lastma like me…..lol)
Today, I am talking about DURALINE. But first a poem from me to duraline.

Dear Duraline,
For many years I have heard of your amazing prowess.
How with one drop you turn solid nightmares into beautiful gel dreams.
For many years you have eluded my grasp.
And then you came into the Nigerian scene.
For a long time I postponed purchasing you,
Lekki is quite a distance, you see.
But ever since I got you, dear Duraline,
Gels and primers are as happy as can be.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
9ml volume
Glass bottle
black plastic cap/dropper dispenser.

So, as I said, I have heard about Duraline for a while but after searching high and low with no luck, I soon gave up on ever finding it. To be honest, I really had no need for this stuff back then. But fast forward a few years, and many discarded dried up products, Inglot came to Nigeria and I happily purchased it, along with some AMC 77 gel liners (which are simply ah-maaaazing, by the way. Mind you, if you have not tried them, you are definitely on a dulling P!), took pictures, as I usually do, and threw it in my stash of untouched products.

Fast forward a few months, I noticed my precious Urban Decay Primer Potion was getting dried up and after a few days, it simply refused to dispense product! You can only imagine the horror! What is eyeshadow without primer! What is life without eyeshadow! What is the essence of makeup without layers and layers of friggin’ shadows!!! You can sense my desperation abi?
You see, UD Primer is my holy grail eyeshadow primer. With it, my shadows do not move an inch! This, for me, is the Mother Theresa of all eyeshadow primers, and buying anything else, on such short notice, was not even an option.

After ascertaining that I still had product in the tube, I decided to put Duraline to the test. The first time, I got an empty MAC pot and added about 3 drops of Duraline to the primer, mixed it all together and voila! It worked like a dream. But after a few days, it dried up and became hard again….huh? what happened?
So, I decided to try again. This time, Bukola helped me. She cut the tube open, and scooped out the dried up primer into 3 empty MAC pots(yes, I keep my empties *nose in the air*) and after a generous application of the Duraline, and a thorough mixing (Bukola went to town with it), we got a beautiful paste and I am happy to announce to you that it has been 5 days now, and my primers are still a beautiful paste. (Apparently, the key is to add enough of the Duraline to your product to get the desired result)

I decided to put Duraline to yet another test. This time, I added a few drops to my drying L’oreal gel liner, and an Inglot gel liner, and guess what, the liners are doing beautifully and what’s more, they are more intense!

My darlings, I have shared this gospel of Duraline with you. If you need to revive any dried up makeup product, or you need to make beautiful intense  liners from your favourite eyeshadows, please, get Duraline (*drops mic*)

Duraline and the massacred UD primer(This seemingly small product left in the tube produced 2 and a half full MAC pots of primer)

Imagine what I could have wasted guys! Mind you, the primer didn't come cheap!

Hope you have a fabulous weekend ahead guys
Till my next post....

N.B  I appreciate your comments, please leave them often.
